June started off with a bang, as Managing Partner Samantha Bowling and our firm administrator Kelly Edelen traveled to Vegas for Sam to be recognized as one of the Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Accounting for 2024.
Sam has long been involved (and recognized) in the profession, but most recently, she's coming off of 11 years at AICPA Council representing the interests of Maryland's CPAs, and a 3-year tour on the Auditing Standards Board - specifically as a champion both for the small firm like ours, and the implementation of AI in the audit process.
We are so proud of Sam, and it's a testament to the years she's both modeled and encouraged our entire team in finding ways to give back to our profession.
